A great way for tactile learners to enjoy mark-making, and learn letter or word formation with sand play.

1. Fill a sand tray or tray with sand and place a letter or a simple word from the Happy Little Doers Shapes, Writing or Phonics Flashcards pack in front

2. Ask your child to trace the shape, letter formation or word in the sand with their finger or a blunt utensil

3. Shake the tray and try again or a new word!
