From rediscovering the great outdoors, showing overwhelming support to the NHS, from our weekly claps and cheers, to proudly hanging up our rainbows creations. From shouting from the rooftops and supporting small businesses. To baking banana bread (I actually never did this one, but I heard it was a thing!), to going crazy in the supermarket for toilet roll.
Looking back on it now, I’m not sure how we all coped… but we did. We all adapted in our own way and got through it together. We all had a little more time on our hands and our little brand was born thanks to lockdown so it hasn’t been all bad for us.
Here are our top 5 lockdown moments and reasons we feel happy.
We created the brand Happy Little Doers from scraps of paper in a matter of months. We now can’t stop designing and dreaming of our next pack.
Getting our cards into 20 stockists and in bricks and mortar shops! I’ve managed to see a couple. Meeting Hannah from West Stanton has been a breath of fresh air, I love her shop/vision and enthusiasm. I also got the pleasure of meeting the lovely Diana, from the Mamahood in her beautiful shop in East Dulwich.
The shares, comments, likes, pictures and purchases are all incredible. I LOVE seeing different ways to play and learn with our cards. There is no set way and that’s what I love about what we’re creating. They can be adapted to a child’s level of learning and their interests, from counting cars to cookies to hunting around for sphere-shaped objects from oranges to Christmas baubles.
Filling a Royal Mail sack was seriously up there for me. I put this on the board of goals, but I never thought it would actually happen. Thanks to all of your orders.
Getting accepted as a partner to join Not on the High Street was a real high. I’m a huge fan of Holly Tucker, as you may have read here. If you’ve never watched a live video with her… do. You will feel inspired beyond belief.
OH and I almost forgot we are now stocking the Happy Newspaper! The news of late has, let’s be honest, been a little depressing and repetitive and that’s why we’ve decided to stock The Happy News.
This is not your average news, it’s a real joy, and that’s why I want to offer this along with our cards. Something for the kids and something for you. The kids can’t have all the fun and joy, we need some too! You can now purchase this on its own or in a pack.
If you would still like to grab our Christmas Eve packs, it’s not too late to get your personalised packs. We are upgrading all post to first-class and our last ordering date is Thursday 17th December. Shop Now>>
Thank you for being on this amazing journey with us. We hope to stay around and love what we do as much as us.
Merry Christmas and here’s to 2021!
