I’m so happy that two glorious books arrived for me yesterday.

1️⃣ Do what you LOVE what you do by the totally inspiring @hollytucker @holly.co empowering entrepreneurs. As Chrissie Rucker the Founder of @thewhitecompany said “Holly is a fairy godmother to all small business owners... inspiring and invaluable!” It’s not your average business book, it has colour, Holly’s hacks and is beautifully designed. I cannot wait to get my nose into this book!
2️⃣ A new @deliciouslyella cook book to add to my collection. I was up last night making yummy mango and coconut flapjacks. Billy and Lara are going to love them today.

Managed to see the lovely Hannah @west_stanton to pick up a crate for Lara’s bedroom. Now I see the obsession with these crates 😍 and a little birthday book. I can’t believe she will be turning 2 on Monday! The pink trike has been assembled and now all that’s left is to make the cake!

We would all like one more or one less of something... right? One more wine 🍷, one more chocolate 🍫 one more hour sleep 😴, one less load of washing, one less request for a snack per day?!

Joking apart this was a super simple activity to set up. The cars helped having a physical object and then hiding one (or taking one away) or adding one helped and placing the cards confirmed the answers.
•
Why is it important to teach 'one more and one less' to children?
•
One more and one less is an important concept which goes beyond simple counting. Teaching one more and one less helps develop fundamental number sense skills which are key to a child’s progress through KS1 maths.
